OUR STORY
Outdoor Living Style began in 2014, under the name Outdoor Home Magazine. A niche print publication distributed in New York and Connecticut, Outdoor Home featured luxury landscape projects, leading products, and inspiration for creating the very best outdoor living spaces. In 2021, we relaunched the publication as the website you see now.
Although a lot has changed since 2014, some things have not. We still believe that outdoor living spaces are no-less important than our interiors, that food tastes just a little better under the open sky, and that backyards deserve the same great design as our bedrooms.

With our leadership team’s over 25 years of professional landscape, pool, and outdoor living industry experience, we deliver a resource built for the real world….built to help you create better landscapes and more memories outdoors.

We are a team of passionate professionals dedicated to bringing our readers an inspiring, actionable resource for creating elevated outdoor living spaces & rooms. Working remotely, and distributed across the country, the Outdoor Living Style team brings over 30 years of outdoor living experience to the site.
ADDIE BRACKIN, Content Manager
With a BSBA in Marketing, Addie manages the ongoing content calendar and writers, ensuring we are publishing high-quality, accurate content. In her free time, you will find her either crafting or spending time outdoors with her family and three dogs.
COREY J. HALSTEAD, Co-Founder
With 26+ years of landscape and outdoor living design & installation experience, Corey manages brand, marketing, & editorial. Corey co-owns a leading digital marketing firm also also serving the landscape industry, from which OLS is an off-shoot passion project.
ANNA HALSTEAD, Co-Founder
Fortune 500/Global 100 consulting experience meets the landscape and outdoor living industries. Anna worked extensively in sales and marketing leadership roles in the TV/cable industry, bringing her deep knowledge of modern media to the OLS site.
JARMILA GORMAN, Writer
A native of Prague, Czech Republic, Jarmila grew up in upstate NY and lived in Boston before her heart pulled her westward to the foothills of Colorado Rockies, where she pursues her passion for home remodeling (currently on #3), mountain biking and outdoor living.
